CARES Act Emergency Funds Request
CARES Act emergency funds are for the sole and exclusive purpose of providing emergency financial aid grants to students for their expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to the coronavirus, such as food, housing, course materials, technology, health care and child care expenses.
Do not complete this request unless you have received an email invitation from the Office of Financial Aid to do so.
Students are being invited to apply based on the number of credits completed in the spring 2020 semester, enrollment in a summer class, and the number of credits pre-enrolled for the fall 2020 semester. Students will be invited at different intervals to apply for funding based on their enrollment.
At this time, the student must have completed 12 or more credits (Nursing students for 9 or more credits) in a CMCC program during the spring 2020 semester, and that program cannot have been 100% online. The student must be enrolled for a summer course at CMCC and must be pre-registered for 12 or more credits for the fall semester at CMCC (Nursing students must be pre-registered for 9 or more credits).
The student must have filed the 2019-2020 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrated eligibility to participate in the federal student aid programs (see below).
To demonstrate eligibility to participate in the federal student aid programs, students must:
- Be enrolled in a degree or certificate program at the College;
