Description

PHF 202 Principles of Exercise & Strength Training
4 credits (3 Lecture 1 Lab 0 Shop)
5 Hrs/Wk (3 Hrs. Lecture 2 Hr, Lab) *15 wks
Students will understand the principles of safe and effective exercise protocols/prescriptions for development in all components of health and fitness. Exercise adaptations will also be addressed for special populations. Students will also recognize new trends and top trends in exercise participation. Prerequisite: PHF 120 with a grade of C or higher.
