Description

Electrical Wiring Practices 2: This course is designed to cover the common wiring practices and materials used in commercial and industrial applications. Reference to the latest edition of the National Electrical Code will be an ongoing part of the course. Students will work on lab exercises that will give them practical hands-on experience and the applicable trade information required to become proficient in the commercial and industrial electrical construction field. Emphasis is placed on topics such as workplace safety, tools of the trade, wiring techniques, conduit bending, voice, video and data wiring, and electrical materials and nomenclature.
