PHF 120 Foundations of Exercise Science

This course presents the basic scientific foundations of and techniques used in Exercise Science. Aerobic and anaerobic training adaptations to exercise will be examined including acute and chronic adaptations to resistance exercise, physiological factors associated with overtraining and physiological consequences of detraining. Co-requisites: BIO 105 Essentials of Human Anatomy & Physiology or BIO 115/BIO 116 Anatomy & Physiology Lecture and Lab.
