Description

MAT 105 Geometry and Trigonometry
3 Credits (3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop)
3 Hrs/Wk (3 Hrs. Lecture) *15 wks
This course will begin with a review of the techniques for solving linear equations in one and two unknowns, formulas, quadratic equations, and proportions. The course will cover the U.S. and International units of measurement, geometry of some common geometric shapes and the Pythagorean Theorem. Also included will be right triangle trigonometry, trigonometry of any angle and vector addition. Prerequisites: See the Academic Catalog for the placement & prerequisite chart.
