Lecture) *15 wksThe course explores theories, common beliefs and perspectives of death, loss, and grief responses within the context of individual, family, community, and societal factors. Students will assess their own self-awareness and philosophy regarding grief and loss. Community resources and support systems for grief and loss will be emphasized from a human services perspective.
