HUS 101 Critical Thinking & the Addictions Professional3 Credits (3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop)3 Hrs/Wk (3 Hrs. Lecture) *15 wksThe purpose of this course is to provide knowledge, skills and attitude learning opportunities that will prepare students to enter the addictions profession at entry levels and for those pursuing certification in addictions. The course will introduce students to the principles of critical thinking and will provide practice in applying these principles in everyday decision making within the addictions field. Pre-requisites: Scores of 68 or higher on Reading Accuplacer and scores of 5 or higher on WritePlacer, or completion of ENG 090 or ESL 101 with a C or better.
