  • Tuesday: 11:00 AM through 1:00 PM, 5:05 PM through 5:15 PM
  • Thursday: 2:05 PM through 2:15 PM, 4:00 PM through 6:00 PM
    (Some Thursdays: 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM; subject to change.)
    (NA during CMCC-observed holidays and Spring Recess.)

  • If meeting on campus in the GRC department:
    • Please email me to reserve a time frame during my available office/dept. hours. These are available on a first-communicated and confirmed-by-me, first-reserved basis.
    • Appointments are for 10-20 minutes.
      • For questions about coursework: Bring all Rubrics, prints, and packaged digital files with you.
      • For academic planning: Come prepared with a recent print of your Degree Audit and a list of courses that meets the requirements in your Degree Audit that interest you. Include a list of the courses' names, codes, numbers, and section numbers. i.e. GRC 102-01 Graphic Design 1
    • I am not available during scheduled classes, meetings, etc.
  • If meeting via Zoom:
    • Be sure you have the Zoom application installed, updated, and have access to a microphone AND means for video (Most cell phones, smart devices, and laptops have these.)
    • Please use your own full name when entering the Zoom Meeting's Waiting Room. Zooms are for 20 minutes.
    • I am not available during scheduled classes, meetings, etc. 

NOTE: For a Zoom Meeting to be scheduled, FIRST an appointment time during which we are both available must be determined. NEXT, I can set up the Zoom meeting. THEN, an email will be sent to your CMCC email with the Zoom Meeting link (URL) to copy & paste into your browser's address bar for you to attend the scheduled Zoom Meeting. If a link is not supplied, the Zoom meeting time has not been reserved and/or is not available. If the student does not attend the scheduled Zoom meeting within the first 10 minutes of the start of the meeting, the Zoom meeting will close.

NOTE: Fall and Spring Semester Dept. Hours: These will be posted in my courses' syllabi and on the door of the GRC office. Description

GRC 118 Introduction to Digital Photography
3 Credits (3 Lecture, 0 Lab, 0 Shop)
3 Hrs/Wk (3 Hr. Lecture) * 15 Wks.
This introductory course will guide students in the operation of digital cameras. Students will learn to correct exposure within the camera, apply various camera modes to achieve desired results, and to save digital images for printing and web. Other topics will include setting up a photo-shoot and color correcting photos. Students must have access to a digital camera that allows editing of the settings to the camera's Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO, Exposure Value, and Manual mode, and takes and saves photos in RAW format.
