Description

ENG 021 Basic Writing
3 Credits (3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop)
3 Hrs/Wk (3 Hrs. Lecture) *15 wks
An introductory course designed to help students achieve a minimal competency in writing. Specific skills covered include planning, organizing,
and rudimentary sentence structure and mechanics. Students will use computer technology to produce their final drafts. Open only to matriculated students identified through CMCC?s placement test. Successful completion of this course and minimum competency in reading will enable students to enroll in ENG 101. Prerequisite: WritePlacer score of 5 or lower.
