The capstone seminar is designed for students to demonstrate their knowledge of educational practices, policies and resources. The students will learn to use that knowledge in order to analyze problems, synthesize appropriate actions and evaluate the outcomes of those actions. During the course the students will be required to interact with K-12 school per sonnel and other education stakeholders in an interview format. They will then use current educational literature available in libraries to do research on selected issues brought up during their interviews. This course also requires each student to develop a portfolio demonstrating that he/she is fully aware of professional issues and responsibilities.
