Infant and Toddler Field Experience (ECE 197)
Term: 2010-2011 Spring Semester

Field Experience) *15 wksThe student will visit, on a weekly basis, a child care setting where infants and/or toddlers (birth - 3 years) receive care. Specific techniques forobserving and recording children?s behavior will be required during these visits, and as the student becomes comfortable with the setting,he or she will also assist the staff in providing appropriate care and education to the children. Each student is responsible for arranging aschedule and trans portation that will assure the completion of the required number of hours at this site. Prerequisites: ECE 100 and PSY 114or instructor permission; Co-requisite: ECE 105.
