CRJ 232 Criminal Psychology3 Credits (3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop)3 Hrs/Wk (3 Hrs. Lecture) *15 wksThis course is an examination of psychology of human behavior as it relates to crime. This course will assist the student in understanding the factors that contribute to criminal behavior in order to determine appropriate intervention stategies. Emphasis will be placed on origins of criminal behavior, aggression, psychopathy, crime and mental disorders, homicide, and sexual assault. Biological, psychological, educational and situational factors are examined to assess behaviors, patterns, and motivations.
