Description

This course is an introduction to web development using the WordPress platform. Upon completion, students will understand how to create a versatile, multi-function website with WordPress. Specific objectives include creating new pages; changing and modifying the appearance of pages; adding navigation links, text, images and interactive features; and managing a basic visitor comments section.

Students should be familiar with basics of personal computing, the World Wide Web, and social media. Familiarity with HTML is helpful but not necessary.
