This theory class is designed to provide the student with the scientific basis of forensic science techniques used in solving crime. Students will be introduced to the theory of crime scene processing as well as the analysis and interpretation of physical evidence. Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in one of the following Life Science courses: BIO 101-102 Intro to Biology Lecture and Lab, BIO 105 Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology, BIO 131/132 Biology I Lecture and Laboratory OR BIO 115-116, Anatomy and Physiology I Lecture and Laboratory, OR BIO 131 Biology I Lecture and BIO 132 Biology I Lab Corequisite: BIO 256 - Forensic Science Lab
