BIO 117 Anatomy and Physiology II
3 Credits (3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Clinical)
3 Hrs/Wk (3 Hrs. Lecture) *15 wks
This course is designed to provide the student with in depth theory of human anatomy and physiology. This is the second part of a two-semester course and will cover the body systems that provide special sensation, transport, respiration, digestion, reproduction, excretion and selected topics in nutrition, metabolism, blood, lymphatic, immune system, fluid and electrolyte balance, pregnancy, human development and heredity. The prerequisites for this course are BIO 115 (C or better) and BIO 116 (C or better) or permission from instructor. Co-requisite: BIO 118.
