Welcome to Anatomy and Physiology I

We continually strive to help you be successful. In this spirit, here is a video to introduce Amerman's Human Anatomy & Physiology and the helpful tutorials and animations found in the Study Area of Mastering A&P. In addition to the thousands of questions and tutorials that can be assigned in Mastering A&P, the Study Area was created to help students who need additional help while studying on their own. Also, tutoring is available to you through the learning assistance center or possibly TRIO (this requires an application process).

Watching this brief video before the first day of class will give you a glimpse into the materials you purchased for the course and how to access them. Please click the following link: https://youtu.be/Jy0jhGHRRQg.

This class requires hard work and commitment. Please see me if you would like recommendations on studying techniques. I sincerely want everyone in this class to succeed!

i>clicker Web Registration:

You are required to purchase an i>clicker remote for in-class participation.  i>clicker is a response system that allows you to respond to questions I pose during class.  Each clicker has a unique serial number on the back of the remote.  Place a piece of scotch tape over the bar code and ID to preserve it.  You will need to register your i>clicker remote online by the second class meeting.  You must have come to class at least once and voted on at least one question in order to complete this registration properly.  You can register your clicker online even before coming to class, go to www.iclicker.com/registration .  Complete the fields with your first name, last name, student ID and remote ID.  Your student ID is your first name, middle initial, last name, all lower case, no spaces.  If your class schedule does not have your middle name or initial on it, do not use your middle initial in the student ID.  The remote ID is the series of numbers and sometimes letters found on the bottom of the back of your i>clicker remote.  The i>clicker response system will be used in class, and you are responsible for bringing your remote daily.
