AUT 252 Manual Transmission and Driveline
5 Credits (3 Lecture; 0 Lab; 2 Shop)
17 Hrs/Wk (6 Hrs Lecture; 0 Hrs. Lab; 11 Hrs. Shop) *8 weeks
This course will cover transmission theory and power flow from the engine to the drive axle. Including noise and vibration diagnosis and repair, diagnosis and repair of clutch, transmission, transaxle, drive shaft, ring/pinion, axle shaft, differential case, and four-wheel drive components. Prerequisites: AUT Core; ENG 101 or ENG 105; and MAT 100.
