ACE 237 Concrete Structures
3 Credits (3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop)
3 Hrs/Wk (3 Hrs. Lecture) *15 wks
The student is introduced to concrete structures and soil mechanics as related to concrete structures. Computational methods the student will identify and determine internal stresses towards the design and selection of basic structural concrete components. Students will expand their use of CAD related software, creation of models and methods of presentation to create subject related industry standard documents. Prerequisites: ACE 122 and CAD 110 and MAT 105 or Mat 132 or MAT 280.
