Description

ACE 165 Commercial Building Site
3 Credits (1 Lecture, 2 Lab, 0 Shop)
5 hrs/week (1 hr lecture, 4 hrs lab) * 15 weeks
Students will design a commercial building and its related site utilizing REVIT, CAD and BIM related software. The design will include but not be limited to the various stages of the design process from predesign to construction documentation. Research of materials, methods, assemblies, advanced detailing and annotation within industry standard construction documents will be covered. Students will expand their use of software to create models and methods of presentation including subject related industry standard documents. Prerequisites: ACE 110
