Description

This is a 5-hour program designed for servers at restaurants, bars, hotels, in-store tastings, or other establishments where alcohol is consumed on the premises. Employees learn strategies that ensure responsible alcohol service, promote professionalism and enhance customer service skills. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be a TIPS certified alcohol server. TIPS On-Premise responsible alcohol server Certification is valid for 3 years. Training is designed for everyone from bartenders to security guards at restaurants, bars, hotels, in-store tastings or other establishments where alcohol is consumed on the premises.

To be eligible to take the TIPS course individuals must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Proof of education is required.
