The cognitive, symbolic interaction, exchange, role-reference group, and dramaturgical approaches are explored. An emphasis will be placed on language and communication, intergroup conflict and conflict resolution, social judgments and decisions attitudes, perceptions of others, social influence, attraction, aggression, and group pressure.
