Description

This two day training aims to increase awareness of strategies for supporting self-regulation in young children. Building on a provider?s knowledge of the importance of a child?s primary attachment to their parents, participants will discuss emotional, social and behavioral regulation in the child-parent relationship. Through a combination of lecture, group discussion, videos and print materials training participants will discover strategies for addressing challenging behaviors. This training will explore how trauma triggers could interfere with a child?s emotional and social development and cover the impact of trauma and chronic stress on young children.
