Description

Course Description:
The Grant Writing workshop is an introduction to preparing proposals for funding nonprofits. It is a workshop for both beginners who are prepared for a thorough overview of the process as well as more experienced practitioners who seek to build a stronger knowledge base.
Participants will gain an understanding of the steps involved to identify prospective funding sources, develop a plan of approach to seek support, understand the fundamentals of project design and prepare effective proposals.
Participants will be given the opportunity to engage in an interactive and ?hands-on? learning experience, raising their confidence level when seeking outside support and increasing their chances of receiving funds

Students must pay for this class in full when registering; there are no payment plans and federal financial aid cannot be used for non-credit classes.
