ACE 225 Commercial Site Design
3 Credits (1 Lecture, 2 Lab, 0 Shop)
5 hours (1 hr Lecture, 4 hr Lab) *15 weeks
This is a continuation of ACE 155 Residential Site Design expanding into commercial site design as it relates to residential and commercial subdivisions and single lot commercial sites with associated roads and traveled ways. There will be expanded focus on design principles with functional, environmental and regulatory constraints towards the development of design parameters in creating various commercial sites. Students will expand their use of CAD related software with the introduction of civil site design software and the creation of models and methods of presentation of subject related industry standard documents. Prerequisites: ACE 155
