Earners of the Wide Loom Technician Digital Badge Have demonstrated the abilityto safely operate an industrial wide loom in a professional textile manufacturing environment. They have demonstrated comprehension of safe wide loom operational processes, relevant quality assurance techniques, and basic loom maintenance. Students have demonstrated comprehension of loom startup/shut down procedures, the creel tending procedure, the warp end/creel procedure, the end replacement procedure, the loom pick count procedure, the roll doffing procedure, and the ounce weight check procedure. Furthermore, these learners have shown the ability to identify specific tolerance standards for specific orders.
