Topics will include: atoms, chemical bonds, chemical reactions, acid-base chemistry, basic organic chemistry, functional groups, chirality, carbohydrates, lipids and proteins. Prerequisite: High School Algebra I, or MAT 050 with a grade of C or higher. Corequisite: CHY 102.
